To obtain a license to drive, you will need proof of your identity and date of birth. You must also pass the Regulations Test. This test covers laws and signs as well as driving rules. However, the driver is not able to transport passengers who are not immediate family members. In addition the driver is not allowed to drive between 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. unless the journey is necessary for school or work. There are exceptions to this rule like church events and volunteer fire department events.

After one year of safe driving and no accidents with the Limited Provisional License, a driver may apply for a Full Provisional License. This license does away with the time of day and passenger restrictions, but it also comes with other restrictions.
