Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.

Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired, such as an armor, weapon or rings. The item is replaced by an identical item, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original item's level and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment in three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by melee and weapons, while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and the icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones which increase the level of an item level upgrade by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Leveling

The process will use up the upgrade item components and grant the item upgrader an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that particular area. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to one Best item upgrader item upgrade - Full Review, at one time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be applied and a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can put in a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of an item will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available to it. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones. However, this could ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements

Certain items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
